  October 23, 2013 - I waited a year to open my second bottle of Herb Lamb and am glad I was patient. This seems to be in a very nice place right now. The tannins were slightly gripping at first, but smoothed out within an hour in the glass. Nose of dark currants, dark blackberry and young leather. Over time, eucalyptus and barnyard notes came out. Balanced palate of dark fruits. Once the tannins calmed down, the finish lingered for close to a minute. Beautiful wine.
