December 13, 2013 - This was terrific, maybe the best young Huet I've ever had. Often they're kind of mute at this age and don't show much more than apples and acid, but this one is really generous - luscious, even, without showing any sweetness. The fruit material is pure but features some more sunny yellow fruits than usual; it's full and creamy, just wraps around the palate, and it's spackled with quartzy detail. You keep reaching for another sip and it shows another facet each time.
