On the nose deep concentrated aromas of roasted plum, cassis, and dark cherry that are seasoned with spice, toast, vanilla, cedar, toffee and mocha. Aromas are moderate + with a touch of heat even after decant.
Whoa... the palate offers up dense, super-ripe fruit and a supple mouthfeel. Flavors of fig, plum, dark cherry reduction, cassis, toffee, toast, mocha, flowers, and spice are bold. Acidity and tannin levels are both moderate, the mid palate density is moderate and the finish is moderate+ in intensity and length with dark berry and espresso flavors. Needs time for all the components to come together a little more harmoniously, as of now slightly disjointed.2,156 views
