  February 2, 2014 - Popped and poured. Dark purple in color, medium / high viscosity. Somewhat muted nose - blueberry pie with a hint of cassis.
  
  In the mouth, very smooth with some light soft tannins. Black and blue berries, hints of coffee / cocoa, very well balanced despite the high ABV (15°) stated on the label.
  
  Nice drinker and a much appreciated gift.
