  February 26, 2014 - PnP. Violet (fairly dark). Meaty dark fruits with various savory notes on the nose, not much spice/pepper. At a nice spot on the palate. Fruit enters medium plus weight and very bright/fresh with a roundness at midpalate. Not 'fat' as there is a tannic spine and soft acidity. Love the balance. Opened up a little during the evening (but felt like it was holding back) so would decant next time or wait a few years.
