  July 2, 2007 - Decanted 2 hours. Dark Ruby color with little signs of aging. Dark black cherry, shoe polish with oak and vanillan on the nose. Still holding on to it's tannins but they are integrated and the wine is balanced. Only 13.8% alcohol, the '96 is a blend of 85% cabernet, 12% cab franc and 3% merlot.
  On day 2 this settled down to reveal deeper aromatics and flavor. I'd guess this can last another 10 years.
