April 15, 2014 - I have had this wine a few times and I was certainly over enthusiastic with my first note. That said, this is a sleeper wine that is perfectly mature, well integrated with great notes of mature red and black fruit, cedar, earth and a leather note. Great harmony and round texture. Medium depth and finish.

4/17/14, 7:50 PM - Definitely worth a try. I bought two cases from the HDH Clarence Day auction. Bottles were in good condition with fills at base neck/top shoulder. All bottles have been great right away and held for 2+ hours. A couple had some funk at the beginning which blew off. Let me know if you try one!
