  April 20, 2014 - Opened and poured into a decanter and then back into the bottle. Initially tasted without food. Will check in again but want to add my initial impression.
  Good vibrant purple color. Nose of black raspberry, cherries and some licorice. Good sweet fruit profile with a solid core of acidity that speaks up on the back end. While rich with fruit, it has that acidity that gives it lift. Shows a little bot of the alcohol in the way the wine coats the tongue but not in a way that's hot. Long finish.
