  May 30, 2014 - Drank alongside the '98 and a lineup of other CR and Hermitage, some of which were no slouches themselves. This was clearly the WOTN.
  
  Stunning nose with meaty overtones and dark brambly fruit. Gamey, deep and resolved fruit, pure silk in the mouth. Absolutely haunting finish. This wine is one that isn't really possible to put into words, it's just too beautiful. If you have some, drink it.
