  July 30, 2014 - Decanted for one hour at cellar temp of 60 degrees F. Lively, wonderful nose of blackberry, cherry and blueberry are noticeable before even lifting the glass. On the palate interesting notes of black tar, tobacco and leather combine with the dark fruits in balance with good acidity and medium grained tannins that are all nicely integrated. Given the current tannic backbone and balanced presence of fruit/acidity I would say this has at least another 4-5 years of good drinking. Lovely.
