  July 30, 2014 - Decided to finish this off and while it is very good, there is just a hint of oak that feels out of place in the finish. Perhaps it is a weird spot for the bottle and it isn't anything awful but just not as good as some other Chardonnays so took it down a point on my oh so scientific (tongue firmly in cheek) scale. I would pick a nice aged white burg over this pretty quickly right now but I grant not a fair comparison since this is but a baby. Hands off the other bottle for years!
