  August 3, 2014 - This is exactly what I was hoping for. First tried this wine several years ago and it was so tight and unexpressive, but the potential was there. Now the fruit has come forward and the tannins and wood have mellowed. I think this has another 5 years ahead of it of prime drinking window and who knows what happens after that. Did a 45 min decant and that seemed to work. Could have been longer but didn't seem necessary.
