  August 8, 2014 - While our approach was probably heresy for late harvest aficionados, since we don't drink this normally, my husband reduced it by boiling in a saucepan with cinnamon sticks, cloves, and a tad more sugar. The result was the best sauce for poached pears we've ever had.
