  August 9, 2014 - Short decant, and then poured into a large Riedel glass. I expected after two years the oak would have integrated more. Unfortunately, after close to 8 years, the oak is still very prevalent. Structured with blackberries, dark cherries, dark bitter chocolate, and some dry dusty earth. Really requires more time in the bottle or a very long decant. The liberal and somewhat excessive use of oak has really negatively impacted the enjoyment of this wine. Poor QPR.
