  August 2, 2014 - Cloudy, opaque pale ruby brown. Acidity and tannin hanging in there after 52 years! Still fresh with a beautiful, perfumed nose. Pine needles, mushroom / truffle, old worn leather, bacon fat. Palate is a little volatile with some tart red berries showing. Dry finish with medium length. The age alone makes it a delightful curiosity, everything else was a bonus.
