  October 31, 2014 - Upon opening, a really light, almost orangish/rose colored wine. Superb nose of tart red fruit, earth, and a hint of strong acidity. Taste evolved significantly over 4 hours. Much better after hour 2 and kept on improving. Superb complexity, with a wonderful taste of light red fruits (ever so lightly sweet fruit); strong earthy notes; strong, but not overwhelming, acid; great minerality, light greenness,with a touch of bitter tannins. Great long finish. Fantastic. Note, this is not for everyone. If you like fruit bombs, stay away. Firmly in the AFWE wheelhouse at 11.5% alcohol. This will be able to age.
