  November 7, 2014 - Very dark for a palo cortado. For me, that's a shame. This leans very far into the oloroso spectrum, and the biological aging/flor characteristics that a good PC should have are largely masked by the brooding oxidative characteristics typical of oloroso. This is a bargain and delicious, I just would like a little more saline and mineral edge to cut through the walnut and caramel notes.
