The nose is clean and developing, showing medium(+) intensity aromas of dark fruits (dark plums, dark cherries), red fruits (red currants, strawberries), flowers (dry roses), oak (cedar) and hints of bottle ageing (tobacco). It is a very good quality wine. It shows some complexity in the nose provided by aromas ranging from ripe fruit to bottle ageing,including floral and oaky notes. The fruit concentration is well-balanced by the acidity, and the finish is persistent enough for a very good quality wine. However a better example of this style would be even more complex.
Can drink now, but it has enough acidity and fruit concentration to continue developing tertiary aromas over the next 2-3 years.5,126 views
