December 1, 2014 - Maybe the last vintage of Angelus that normal people will afford for quite some time. Since its promotion to the top of the classification, and with the help of hyped vintages like 2009 or 2010, price is now in the 200€ and not in the 60€+VAT that was in this vintage.

Wine is ok, it is well made, has a good quality fruit and is not absent from finesse, but also has a ton of oak (great quality oak) that masks the fruit. Maybe the fruit will outlive the oak, or maybe not. This was my only bottle that was purchased with two friends en primeur to drink after a few years (so, today).

For my palate, this is a good wine that lacks complexity, emotion, or soul. Maybe a buy for 30€-50€, but at current prices, which take the wine into the ultra-luxury segment, I am not a buyer and the wine is way below expectations.
