  December 8, 2014 - Nose is initially rich cassis and ripe blackberry, slight metallic/graphite note, some woody herbs, over time smooths out and joined by subtle but deep coffee and cocoa, more baked fruit. Palate has good acid (especially on the attack) and medium plus tannins (fine, leathery, especially on mid-palate). Finish is very long and surprisingly bright with a red fruit kick after 5-10 seconds, notable pomegranate. Extremely delicious but young. Could use another 5 years. 13.0% $45. 92+
