  December 30, 2014 - From a pristinely-cellared bottle, this medium garnet Châteauneuf shows an intense nose of red plums, sous bois, fig, cocoa and anise. Medium-bodied, freshly acidic and with light residual tannins, it delivers flavors which mirror the nose. The alcohol (listed as 13.5%) is seamless and the middle palate is packed. Concluding long and smooth, this wine is simply a joy to drink. Well-cellared bottles will make their owners very happy at this point. Drink now-2017.
