January 17, 2015 - Still alive, but austere. It was very tannic when I purchased it (for $7.99) on release, and after these many years most of the tannins have precipitated out. But it is still bone dry in the finish. Brick/red in color. Notes of green and black olives, leather, oak, and limited fruit (tart cherries after being opened about 30 min.). Can be held another 3-5 years, but I don't see it improving.
