February 2, 2015 - The wine is clear and bright with a deep ruby colour.

The nose is clean and developing, showing pronounced intensity aromas of oak (cedar, vanilla, clove), pungent spices (black pepper), herbaceous notes (green bell pepper), black fruits (dark plums, dark cherries).

The wine is dry in the mouth with a medium(+) acidity. It has medium(+) fine-grained tannins and a medium(+) alcohol. It has a full body and pronounced intensity flavours of oak (cedar, vanilla, clove), pungent spices (black pepper), herbaceous notes (green bell pepper), black fruits (dark plums, dark cherries). The finish is long.

It is an outstanding quality wine. The alcohol is very well balanced by the acidity and tannins, the flavours are very concentrated and the finish is persistent. It also shows a lot of complexity provided by oak ageing and spicy notes.

Can drink now, but it has enough tannic and acidic structure, as well as fruit concentration, to develop more complex tertiary aromas over the next 5-8 years.
