February 11, 2015 - decanted 30 min (minimal fine sediment). medium red w/clear gold rim; pretty cherries-in-syrup nose, w/earthy, cacao bean & spice accents; med-bodied; dark cherry fruit - quite dry though, herbal tea, some dark mineral & soil components, moderate acids, a bit of oak bitterness on the finish, but well-formed overall & seems to be at peak.
