  March 9, 2015 - Tasted twice, upon opening around midday, then with dinner. This is a ridiculously interesting wine, intensely juicy, showing kumquat, gooseberry, tangerine, florals, impression of ocean salinity, and kiss of dry mead. Exceptional weight, balance, and texture. It changes inflection beautifully. Massively structured, palate-coating, and very long. My impression is that the more affordable 2010 La Source is every bit as good, or better, but was able to enjoy the La Source over three days. Will have to sample both side-by-side, in the name of science of course.
