  March 14, 2015 - I agree what the last to reviews. Upon opening the wine is alcoholic and harsh. After 3.5 h of decanting and serving at slightly chilled temperature, the wine is open for business offering a complex nose of red creamy berries, floral notes, lavender, sweet blackberries, herbes, sneet spices, tobacco, legater and barnyard. The beautiful thing is, that it tastes even better giving the same notes on the palate in perfect balance.
  
  Great wine, that shows why it is important to be patient with the wines from Clos Des Papes. Take for instance the 07 now, which is far from open now, but will be a tremendous pleasure from 2020 and forward.
