March 16, 2015 - Nose: There is a touch of wood to the nose, but it doesn't dominate along with licorice, roasted herbs, dark red cherries, roses, and some tar notes.
Taste: Medium/full bodied with medium/high acidity with youthful and chewy tannins. The structure is noticeable, but there is a freshness to it with dark red cherries, roses, licorice, tar, and some leather notes.
Overall: This shows off the modern influence, but it isn't overdone. This can and will get better, but it is enjoyable now on the youthful side.1 person found this helpful 3,779 views
