Community Tasting Note

March 16, 2015 - Nose: There is a touch of wood to the nose, but it doesn't dominate along with licorice, roasted herbs, dark red cherries, roses, and some tar notes.

Taste: Medium/full bodied with medium/high acidity with youthful and chewy tannins. The structure is noticeable, but there is a freshness to it with dark red cherries, roses, licorice, tar, and some leather notes.

Overall: This shows off the modern influence, but it isn't overdone. This can and will get better, but it is enjoyable now on the youthful side.

3/17/15, 1:27 PM - Thanks for the note. Have been sitting on these...

Any recs on when you would pop your next bottle?
