  April 2, 2015 - Urban Butcher (Urban Butcher - Silver Spring, Maryland): Full, ripe and juicy aromas, along with cola, smoke, pepper and grilled meat. Strong tannic backbone but still a creamy mouthfeel. The Mourvedre jumps out, so earthy, with lots of mushroom, charcoal, bacon, black and green olives. The fruit is plush and ripe (black cherry and currants), but matched by the non-fruit elements. Complex, pure, savory, this bottle was singing and I think the wine has a long life ahead.
