  May 17, 2015 - Served from magnum for mom's 85th birthday. As always, a big hit around the dinner table, although I'm sensing that people like these Turley Zins younger when they're more fruit forward and spicy; that's when guests keep pointing to their glasses asking for refills. That said, this was drinking very nicely. More refined and food friendly than as a youngster. Herbs, cedar, smokey raspberries, with cinders in the finish. Even from magnum, this was starting to show its age, with minor browning at the rim. Drink now.
