  May 27, 2015 - Decanted a couple of hours, then consumed over the next 48. Tasted head to head with 2012 SLWC Cask 23. Special Selection was the clear winner. Unlike the 2012 Caymus regular, this wine was not over the top with jammy notes, much better balance with fruit and aromatics. Make no mistake, still a fruit forward wine. Improved the longer it stayed in the decanter. This is a big winner. Sad the price escalated so much, but I will be throwing more in my cellar.
