  June 24, 2015 - Pizza and wines @ Salil's (Vernon, CT): Beautiful, expressive, aromatic and just drinking great right now. The first few whiffs had a pronounced green pepper note, but this settled in when the earth, leather and minerals notes joined the party. Nicely resolved structure, yet still lively and fresh. What a joy to drink with pizza; I need to try this combination more often.
