July 25, 2015 - We liked it better now than in the tasting room a couple months ago. The bright, vibrant, and somewhat deep color could fool someone into expending a very fruity, even "sweet" rose, but though this is a fuller bodied rose, it is quite dry and elegant and balanced; bright strawberry in the nose, hints of dried herbs and dusty earth, some mineral tones on the firmly acidic backbone. A really nice summer dinner rose'.
