  September 28, 2015 - A bit of discolouration around the rim, less dark than the 1998 Canon-la-Gaffeliere tasted alongside. Rich, sweet, floral, layered and complex on the nose. Lots of red and dark fruit, spices, coffee, smoke. Sweet, succulent fruit on the palate, lots of concentration, but great acidity and grip, tannins a little drying and powerful. Quite firm still. Fantastic length. No rush at all drinking this. 94-95+
