October 10, 2015 - Aired an hour on the carafe. Somewhat closed initially. Coming after some time in the glass. Red stone fruits, ripe blackcurrant, blackberry, coffee, forest floor, tobacco, cigar box and hints of wet ashtray on the nose.
In the mouth ripe cassis, forest floor, licorice, tobacco, dark spices and well-roasted coffee. Complex and fine wine with good structure. Nice acidity and integrated, but still noticeable tannins. Great length and good taste. This bottle had endured several years in the cellar. Too bad it was the last.
