Community Tasting Note

  • conviction buy Likes this wine: 93 points

October 14, 2015 - Med to deep red, nose of cherry and candy. More approachable than Cerequio from the same mixed case. Sweet on palate, subtle acidity, aroma of tea leaves, slightly dry and grippy tannin, drinkable now.

10/16/15, 2:34 AM - Thanks for your note and rating. We have been waiting to sip one of our bottles thinking perhaps a touch too young. Your description is compelling us to rethink. Patience is a tempting virtue...

10/29/15, 7:36 AM - Sorry I didn't check-in often as I did mostly on my phone. If you have more than one bottles, you own yourself the right to pop one of these. Pair with a roast duck breast... bravo !

10/29/15, 10:06 PM - Thanks! Sadly, we only eat fish, veggies and pasta/rice/noodles/bread. As much as we love duck breast (and especially char siu), we avoid the same. Having said that, we never worry about food impairing our sipping decisions and pleasure...we also have strong "convictions" ;-)
