  November 21, 2007 - This is just a fantastic example of a well-crafted commercial wine. Jerry Lohr is one of the few large producers that can really "get it right". This Syrah definitely had nice fruit, but was really more reminiscent of Rhone reds than a California Syrah. Some Earthy tones, some minerality and a little spice. And at $14, it become even easier to drink!
