October 25, 2015 - At Nico Osteria with dinner. This is an absolutely crystalline wine, with a lovely grapefruit note on the nose. The palate features a bit of sweeter white fruit, along the lines of pineapples, but there's quite an incredible density to this wine. The acidity is quite sharp and piercing, and a richer texture than you would expect from something like this. A real eye-opener. Thanks Bret, for the recommendation!
