  November 26, 2015 - Decanted 90 minutes and served with Thanksgiving dinner, so I didn't take any notes. Maybe this was an off bottle, as it didn't live up to the other tasting notes. The nose was restrained, acidity seemed high and out of balance, and tannins were sharp-edged. Very fruit-forward, fairly simplistic flavor with a medium but hot finish; if blind-tasted I would have guessed a CA blend. Maybe it's going to sleep for a while and will wake up more refined in a couple years? Or perhaps I'm an old-school BDX/CDP fan and this isn't for me? The bottle just didn't have the elegance of a Grand Cru.
