  February 6, 2016 - Dinner with Neeta and Manoj at our house. Decanted for 2.5 hours before drinking, really allowed the wine to show from when first opened. Drank next to an 03 Secret de Sabon, paired with my brick Chicken Toscana and Lemon/Dill potatoes. Well stored bottle from my cellar...had to blow the dust off this one...
  
  Bright ruby color, no browning. Nose of dried red fruits, baking spice, cedar, some smokiness. Palate of dark cherry, plums, herbs, spice/cinnamon. Mid palate showed savory notes to complement the fruit. Long and layered finish.
  
  Great example of well aged CdP, this bottle was in a perfect spot. Should hold at this level for another 3-5 years (IMO). Drink now.
