  February 8, 2016 - Weekly tasting group #203; Cahors and a few pirates from Argentina (@ SB): Beautiful bouquet with dark berries, luxurious oak, cedar, some black olives, cinnamon and toast. On the palate firm dark fruits, chocolate and sweet spices. Red fruit acidity and round, but slightly sticky tannin. Good concentration and yet also elegant. Beautiful wine, still in the first half of its maturity stage. Drink between now and 2019.
