    April 9, 2016 - 50+5+13+17+8.
Red colour with maturity. Very nice bouquet, dried fruit, dark berries, tobacco, and some vanilla, Rich and powerful taste. Good balance, integrated dry tannins. Feels darker and more complex than standard Rioja. Very good length.

4/10/16, 12:33 AM - The numbers refer to how I evaluated the different dimentions in the wine tasting according to Parker's 100-points scale. I can see that thecsum should have been 93. I will need to update.
50 in start value, 5 (of 5) for the visual impression (nice red coulor with brick tones, no flaws), 13 (of 15) for the bouquet (complex and expressive, a lot of dry dark berries, tobaco, a touch of well integrated vanilla from the barrels, not as dominant as in some other Riojas, a great bouquet in total, the strongest dimention of this wine), 17 (of 20) for the taste (complex and concentrated, good structure, great balance, soft tannins but not truly velvety, dry fruit, a long finish. In total a great wine 8 (of 10). Recommended!
