  December 30, 2007 - Cellared in my wine-cellar since the release Saffredi 00 displays a very nice colour bright purple with youthful signs.
  There is still some oak on the nose so decanting is adviced( even if the day after the oak was not disappeared, I think will
  be the problem of this wine also for the future).At the nose the fruits are ripe, a bitter cherry,black cherry,black pepper
  vanilla, but the alcohol is in evidence,so there's no great integration withthe fruit.The entry is soft with smooth tannins
  the wine is sharp and long but it lacks roundness finesse and elegance.Disappointing for Le Pupille and no great
  improvements with cellaring expected for the future.If you consider the price (46,00 EURO in Italy on the shelves)
  this not a great bargain.Sorry Miss Geppetti!!!!!!
