We did not care for this, it seemed to have no fruit, and didn't get much better after decanting. I would have guessed it was past its prime, yet others feel it's still young! Maybe just a sub par bottle?

7/6/16, 7:24 PM - Your taste buds aren't deceiving you - not meant to be "fruit forward". I find it hard to put the taste in words. Maybe leather / graphite / earth. And good acidity. I like it a lot with food. It's okay on its own but really much better paired with something like roast beef or roast chicken. Just one persons view - but I love it as a food wine. Wouldn't serve it as a "cocktail" wine.
