July 25, 2016 - Pours out an inky colour reminiscent of a bruise. The wine is so dense and concentrated yet everything is in balance and proportion is perfect. There are notes of dried plum, liqueur cherry, licorice, tar and smoked meats. It is has so much presence in the mouth with awesome power. Structure is monumental and it is probably a 50+ year wine if the cork can hold out. A monster but not a really scary one. Although it kind of tries to intimidate you now with its awesome strength.
