  February 3, 2008 - A nice blend of sangiovese,cabernet sauvignon and merlot from Colombaio di Cencio.The bottle has been stored in my cellar since the release on the market.The wine exhibits a bright purple colour with violet rim.It boasts a very elegant nose with cherry,spices,tobacco,vanilla,the oak is perfecly integrated.The mouth is powerful with soft tannins, lively acidiy,good denifition and a remarkable persistance.Il Futuro 1997 has many years ahead this is a great value.
