  April 13, 2007 - Tasted unblinded at the Vintage Wines, Ltd. wine bar. Bright disc. Deep ruby robe with red rim. Clean, very intense (and perfumed) nose of kirsch, exotic spices, minerals and smoked meats. Full-bodied on the palate, with low acidity, big ripe tannins and similar flavors as for the nose. The alcohol is amazingly well-integrated in this wine. The full middle palate leads to a very long finish.
