  February 25, 2017 - Decanted for an hour, but still could have used longer. Soft lovely nose of dark berry and oak. On the palate dark berries, floral, chocolate, and some surprising spiciness mid-palate. It was not as well balanced as I had remembered the last bottle, with the spice dominating. This was served with an entree of Moroccan lamb and root vegetables which helped to moderate the spiciness of the wine. I wish I held onto this last bottle a little longer or decanted for a longer time. Still very good!
