  February 17, 2008 - Nose was very old world, but a bit ordinary. Palate was anything but ordinary. Very complex with leaves, dirt, some anise, and a tiny touch of strawberry. Warning: If you don't like old-world wines, stay as far from this as you can. Otherwise, yeah, this was very good. The tannins are gorgeous and bring a wonderful mouthfeel. The finish is quite long and delicious to me, though I can see others not liking it. 90-91.
