  February 26, 2008 - Popped and poured without decanting the wine displays a nice pale garnet colour.The first sniff boasts cherry,black cherry.black pepper,tobacco orange peeel and vanilla.It exhibits more elegance than power.In the mouth the tannins are smooth with ripe fruits in evidence, it lacks some complexity and roundness.A decent final but not a great vintage for Tignanello.It's ready to drink but it'll last some more years in the cellar.
