August 27, 2017 - Nose: The nose is nuanced and perfumed with a delicious savory quality backed up with licorice, red cherries, raspberries, rose petals, leather, and a touch of pipe tobacco. There is excellent depth and style to this with the tones wafting out of the glass.

Taste: Medium bodied with medium+ acidity and medium/high tannins. The tannins are silky, yet youthful with a silky feel along with red cherries, raspberries, licorice, pipe tobacco, and rose petals.

Overall: This is drinking right in its spot. It took about two hours to open up, and when it did it was a beautiful Brunello. Yes, this can age longer, but it is a real joy right now.
